90DaysKorea (https://90dayskorea.com/; “we”, “our” or “this site”) is published by Kim Hyontae, an individual based in the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect standard analytics data: pages visited, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not collect your name, precise address, or government ID through normal browsing.
Server and security logs. Our hosting provider and the firewall on this site record standard request logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to keep the site running and to block abuse.
Information you provide. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and use them only to respond to you.
Comments. Comments are currently closed on all guides, so we collect no comment data. If comments are reopened, this policy will be updated first.
Newsletter. We do not run a newsletter. If one is launched, subscribing will require only your email address, with an unsubscribe link in every issue.
Cookies and advertising
Google AdSense. This site uses Google AdSense to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show personalized ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
These third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, and may use web beacons (small invisible files, also called pixel tags) to collect information, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed, as a result of ads being served on this site. We do not control those cookies or web beacons and we cannot access the data they collect.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall traffic patterns and improve our content. We do not use this data to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Affiliate links. The site contains no affiliate links at present. If that changes, such links will carry a parameter that identifies this site as the referrer, not you as an individual, and our Disclosure page will say so.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may be limited.
Features that run in your browser
Listen button. The Listen button on the home page and on guides uses the speech feature built into your browser or device. We do not record, receive, or store any audio, and the text is not sent to us. Depending on your browser and the voice it selects, the text being read may be sent to the speech service of your browser or operating system vendor to produce the audio.
90-day stay calculator. Dates you enter in the calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.
Fonts. The home page loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google to fetch them.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the site, understand which guides help readers most, respond to messages, keep the site secure, and display advertising, which is how this free site is meant to be funded. We do not sell your personal information.
Where your data is processed
This site is operated from the Republic of Korea and hosted there. Data handled by Google for analytics and advertising is processed on Google’s servers, which may be outside your country.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard settings. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry. Server and security logs are kept according to the standard settings of our hosting provider and firewall.
Your rights
To ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have given us, write to hello@90dayskorea.com. We usually reply within 2 to 3 business days.
If you live in the EEA, the UK, or another place whose law gives you further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to your local data protection authority, those rights apply as well.
Embedded content and third-party links
Our guides link to official government sites and service providers, and may embed content such as videos from other platforms. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other website, which may collect data and set its own cookies. Their privacy practices are their own.
Children
This site is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date above always reflects the latest version.
