90DaysKorea (“we”, “our”, “this site” — https://90dayskorea.com) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect standard analytics data: pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site. We do not collect your name, precise address, or government ID through normal browsing.
Information you provide. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, used only to respond to you. If you leave a comment, we collect the name and email you enter, plus your IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection. If we launch a newsletter, subscribing will require your email address, used only to send that newsletter, with an unsubscribe link in every issue.
Cookies and Advertising
Google AdSense. This site displays ads served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show personalized ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or www.aboutads.info/choices.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve our content. This data does not identify you personally. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Affiliate links. Some outbound links use tracking parameters so partners know a visit came from our site (see our Disclosure page). These identify our site as the referrer, not you as an individual.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may be limited.
How We Use Information
To operate and improve the site, understand which guides help readers most, respond to messages, filter spam, and display advertising that funds our free content. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention and Your Rights
Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ standard settings. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry. Comments and their metadata are retained so follow-up comments can be recognized. You may request access to, or deletion of, personal information you have provided by contacting us at [email protected].
Embedded Content and Third-Party Links
Our guides link to official government sites and service providers, and may embed content (such as videos) from other platforms. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data and use its own cookies. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies when you visit them.
Children
This site is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when adding a newsletter). The effective date above reflects the latest version.
